Switching Places

D and I were in the same class when we were in the sixth grade in Dupont School, Virginia. One day we decided to sit at each other's desk to see if our teacher, Mrs. McCullen, would notice. One of us sat in the back of the room, the other in front. I don't remember which. So when we came into the classroom after lunch, we switched places. As soon as Mrs. McCullen walked in, she said something like, "D and D get in your right seats." We were so disappointed!
