Things have been slow since we put our house on the market. Even the guy with the moving company that is going to move us up to our new house said business has been down 20 percent in the last several months. In my opinion, the reasons for the slowness are all the new houses being built in the area and none of the military units have been returning from Iraq. There are probably other reasons that I don't about. Four families looked at the house in the month that we have been trying to sell it. So, I'm happy because a family looked at our house yesterday and another today. Things are looking up!

God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the ONE I can, and the wisdom to know it's ME.
I know when we sold Dave's place, people would look at it and then we would
hear nothing. Then all of a sudden we had a bidding war. His house sold in
about 6 weeks.
I was starting to get worried because his place was 6 hours away from us
and summer was coming. With summer grass cutting would be starting. I did
not want that headache.
I think housing is a little slow everywhere.
