I'm a day late, but I'm happy to report that life got in the way. Yesterday was an ending and a beginning. The end of life in our old place, and official beginning of life in the new one. The furniture was delivered in the morning. Later, my husband arrived from doing the last of his paperwork and turning in his badge at his job. In the evening, we went to a six-man football game. The high-school team is part of the private school that our granddaughters attend. Our granddaughters are mini-cheerleaders, and they cheered with about twelve other mini-cheerleaders during the third quarter of the game. What fun!
Many thanks to Big Orange Michael for challenging us again this year. With all of the good changes in my life, it was easy to find something to be happy about every day.

When we lived in Hawaii in the late '80s, our minister always said this prayer before he began his sermon each Sunday.
Take our minds, O Lord, and think through them.
Take our mouths and speak through them.
And take our hearts and set them on fire.
Sounds like life is going to be good in your new place.
