The Smell of Morning
Our air-conditioning was out for three days. On the fourth day, the A/C guy came and fixed it. I am thankful for air-conditioning because I'm a wimp when it comes to being hot. I didn't sleep very well at night. Two of those days were cool with some rain. I'm thankful for that too. During that time, I discovered something that I had forgotten. Early morning smells wonderful! I need to go outside early in the morning and take several deep breaths for the sweet-smelling aroma of a new day more often.

Not only does it smell good, but it also sounds good. I have a bird feeder
right off of my porch and the little birds that visit it in the morning
sound so pretty.
What did we do before air conditioning? We are all a bunch of wimps.
You know me. I am a wimp, too. And, anything above 70 degrees is hot to me.
I do love the sounds, sights, and smells of the morning. I think early
morning is the very best. That is why I walk my wildlife park almost every
morning. It's a wonderful way to start the day.
