While we were stationed at Fort Hood, Bill went to an advanced class in recruiting and retention (getting people to re-enlist in the Army) at Fort Benjamin Harris, Indianapolis, Indiana. He was gone for about a month. When the school was over, the kids and I picked up Bill at the airport. When we all left to go home, Amy left one of her Barbie dolls on one of the airport seats. We went back to get it, but it wasn’t there. It was a sad day for Amy, but a happy day for the family.

Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young--
Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
My King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You. Selah
Psalm 84:3-4
It was a sad day for Amy but just maybe, it was a happy day for some little
girl that would of never had a Barbie, unless she found it....You know like
touched by an angel.
